Good books and links on nutritional therapy which readers may find useful.

The Optimum Nutrition Cookbook is one I'd recommend, written by Nutritionalist Patrick Holford, it contains information on superfoods and includes over 200 recipes. I tried it myself for a really painful and irregular menstrual cycle and eating these foods helped to stop my period pain and pre-menstrual migraine.

Available from Amazon at www.amazon.co.uk/Optimum-Nutrition-Cookbook-Patrick-Holford/dp/0749921706/ref=pd_bxgy_b_text_b/202-2334225-1846266

Another I would recommend is Foods that Harm, Foods that Heal, edited by the Readers Digest. It includes a section on infertility and use of vitamin B and C and essential fatty acids. The book clearly explains what all the different nutrients do, which foods they are contained in, and it has an A-Z of health problems and suggested vitamins and herbs which may help. It also contains real life case studies of people who have cured themselves with correct diet and vitamins.

Readers Digest is available on: www.readersdigest.co.uk

Another good one is Zita West's Guide To Getting Pregnant: The Complete Programme From the Renowned Fertility Expert. It includes information on nutrition, supplements and herbs from fertility expert Zita West at Harley Street, London.

This book is also on Amazon: www.amazon.co.uk/Zita-Wests-Guide-Getting-Pregnant/dp/0007173717/ref=pd_sim_b_2/202-2334225-1846266
