» court0616 - trying to get pregnant

i have been struggling with infertility for four years, and went through ovarian cancer treatments 2 years ago. I now have clearance from all my docs to try INVITRO, but i am overweight. We only have one shot because of the money, so i want to help this as much as i can! How much weight should i lose? do i have to get all the way down to my "healthy weight"? does anyone know of a good, quick diet?

Hello. I know what you're going though. I suggest that you try to get your BMI at least under 30, but the closer you can get to ideal is soooo much better for your chances. Most doctors do suggest you calculate your BMI and be sure you are not obese or underweight. A link to a BMI calculator is in the Obesity article. I am submitting an article on weightloss and diet in about twenty minutes.
