I have been of the Depovera for 7 months now and i have been trying to get pregnant but now matter how we do it it dosnt work. Can anybody give me a few hints on how to improve my chance of getting pregnant after the depovera shot, i feel it has messed my life up as me and my partner want a baby so badly

According to the Depo website, it can take as long as 18 months to get pregnant after stopping the shot. However, many women have reported it taking them much longer, some as long as 5 years or more.

To increase your chances of getting pregnant, you should learn how to chart your fertility signs (it is really easy with the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler). Once you start charting your fertility signs you can see if you are ovulating yet, and if you are ovulating, if you are timing sex correctly.
