i was on the ring for over 2 years and had nothing bad to say about it until i went off to try and conceieve!! i have been off now for 7months and started a regular cycle after the first month, however i could'nt figure out what was stopping me from getting pregnant, after lots of research i have foung LOTS of woman reporting the same problem as me. as far as side effects i had none while on it and recommended it to all of my friends im not here to say it is all bad, i too had tried the shot,multiple pills,and lots of other contraceptives and had two beautiful little girls while on those other forms so when it worked for me i was exstatic!! however i am no longer exstatic about any of it, the increase in infertility,the increase of blood clots and the complications of those who have FINALLY gotten pregnant. its not worth it to me anymore. so i would tell anyone who is not positive that they are done having children or that do not want any children to please,please talk with your gyn and DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH before commiting to this product. im not sure if the problems that i am experiencing are permanent however i would just recommend making a educated decision about this and any other b.c. and follow it!! keep yourself informed, just dont make the mistake i made, just because your gyn recommends it you shouldnt just jump in remember tour gyn gets paid by every prescription he writes he/she is just doing their job and we should not soley rely on that use your instinct and think about things completely first!! keep yourself checked regularly for the clots and other serious side effects! good luck to all!!!!
