Hi,I have some light brown spotting and am 1 week away from my period. This has only happened once before when I was pregnant with my son. I am going through some very emotional family matters and I am wondering if it could be the reason to my spotting. Please help.

Quite possibly. Stress and changes in routine can change the menstrual cycle. I got a period twice in one month once when I travelled to France. I think it was the chsnge in routine that caused it.

It might mean that your period will start early. If you think you may be pregnant, see your doctor.
